The civial right was a movement about the people and their freedom. Because the black people was segregated form the whites. They were out to prove a point, that they should not be judged by the color of their skin. They were also out to show that the black are human just like the whites are. Many people were getting tired that they had to sit in the back of the bus, and if they were in the the front then they were in the front they had to move up for a white man.
